This passage from Revelation speaks of the blessing that awaits all those “who die in the Lord… that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them.” These words of comfort are accompanied, however, by words of sober warning. For here in Revelation 14, we’ll learn that eternal torment awaits the unrepentant who “will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of His anger.” The stakes couldn’t be higher.
